Yes, ideally. Send a photo of the door and lock on WhatsApp. I can often advise from it — sometimes for free — or at least bring exactly the right tools.
In the vast majority of cases I open the door with no damage and you keep your original lock. If a lock ever has to be drilled, I'll tell you before I start.
Within Brno usually around 30 minutes from your call. When you phone, I'll tell you a realistic time based on where you are. You can also check the driving time from Bohunice on the map — add a few minutes for me to get ready and load the tools.
No, I don't cut or copy keys. The closest places are Výroba Klíčů and Rychloslužby Prima. For more demanding jobs and quality work I recommend Kovotechnika or Klíčové centrum H&B Group.
Often you can do it yourself: measure the current cylinder (the length each way from the screw) and buy the same one. I'm happy to talk you through it, or a locksmith firm can fit it. If you tell me the dimensions in advance, I can replace it too. Guide: how to replace a cylinder →
I don't carry a card terminal. The easiest option is a QR payment: point your banking app at my QR code and the payment goes through immediately. If you'd rather use a card, I can send you an online payment link (Revolut) where you enter the card details yourself on your own phone. Cash, bank transfer, Revolut and Bitcoin work too.
A slammed-shut door is 700 CZK, a locked door 1,000 CZK, a key broken off in the lock 700 CZK, a car 900–1,500 CZK, safes 800–5,000 CZK, plus 20 CZK/km travel from Bohunice. A jammed lock depends on the situation. You always hear the full price before I start.
